HEA is a platform for young African social, business, and political entrepreneurs educated in leading colleges and universities in Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa.
In partnership with international corporations such as Intel, GlaxoSmithKline and Nestle, the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance is providing summer grants to young African students and recent graduates with entrepreneurial initiatives in Africa. Thanks to the Tony Blair Foundation, HEA Associates also have access to internship opportunities in the office of the Presidents of Rwanda, Sierra Leone and Liberia, as well as a growing number of international and African companies. If you have come across any young African students who can benefit from these opportunities and our mentorship program of established African professionals and entrepreneurs in Asia, Europe and North America, please enter their name and email address at healliance.org/nomination, or simply forward them this email. You may nominate as many students as you'd like.
Final selection will be made from a competitive pool of over 600 applicants, so your nomination will be an essential component of our decision-making process. Selected applicants will be invited to attend our 5th Annual Symposium at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Yale, and Bretton Woods, taking place March 30-April 2, 2012.
